-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------

- Review of minutes for January 27, 2003
Minutes approved with typographical change (date)

- Announcements

EIA Call for Patent Disclosure: No company declared a patent.

- AR Review

AR Bob H. Add relevant IBIS Accuracy Handbook details (OPEN)

- Opens for new items

         No New items

- Comments on Designcon04 IBIS Summit

Overall there is renewed interest in IBIS demonstrated by the increase
in attedance (from ~30 to ~40 people this year). The IBIS Quality
Presentation was well received. There were numerous questions that
followed the presentation.

- Detailed Documentation review

          Continued Review of entire IQ_DOCUMENT.TXT

Continued IQ document review @ 4.6.6 where we left off last time.
Focused on checking levels and parenthetical comments.
Eckhard
Bob H. did on-line editing of document during the call.

Discussed 4.4.6 how many VT tables are required. we agreed to the
following wording:
4.4.6 {LEVEL 1} Output and IO buffers have should have 2 sets of V-T
tables Outputs and IO buffers should have four V-T tables:

50 Ohm Pullup (Voltage = [Pull Reference])
           Rising
           Falling
50 Ohm Pulldown (Voltage = [Pull Reference])
           Rising
           Falling

LVDS and other terminated technologies may be modeled using 2 sets of
V-T tables. This can be accurately accomplished by including common mode
voltage close to the region of operation. for example

50 Ohm to Vcm (Common Mode Voltage)
           Rising
           Falling

Additional wording was added around C_comp checking in the possible
problems section.
The values for c-comp must be checked for plausibility, usually each
input/output/IO has different values. Sometime a compromise must be
reached between C_comp input and C_comp output for optimal
correlation. The model maker is encouraged to document in comments the
basis for compromise i.e C_comp = |C_comp_off + |C_comp_on /2
